So, by now you guys have probably figured out that I’m unashamed about my addiction to all the latest beauty products out in the market. But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna shy away from a little DIY! Everybody likes to save money, me included. And one of the best ways to do that is to make your own beauty products from inexpensive ingredients you may already have on hand. (And if not, a quick trip to the grocery or health store will get you what you need for a fraction of the cost of buying those lotions and potions right off the shelf.) Today I want to share some of my favorite homemade massage oil recipes with you. These luscious oils will not only pamper you senseless, but even have some surprising health and beauty benefits.
Cellulite Scrub Massage Oil
While you can’t actually scrub away cellulite, you can deeply exfoliate your skin to make it smooth all over and even tighten up loose skin for a more youthful appearance. I use this awesome blend at least once a week and my skin freakin’ GLOWS.
- ½ cup fine ground cornmeal
- ½ cup coarse ground oatmeal
- 1 Tbsp fine grain sugar
- 8 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil
- 5 drops of Juniper Essential Oil
- 4 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
- 3 drops of Cypress Essential Oil
Glow, baby, glow! Here are some more recipes you might try out. These are my favorite aromatic combinations that actually make a difference in skin tone, too. Blend together and massage deeply in a circular motion all over your body — or have your partner do it for you! It’s way more fun that way. 🙂
Toning Massage Oil
