OK ladies – we’re continuing our investigation of the top stretch mark creams out there. On today’s agenda – Mederma. This is a cream that is used for the topical treatment of stretch marks. It’s been specially formulated for this purpose and clinical studies have shown that it can be effective in the use of lightening stretch marks. The cream claims to do this by locking moisture in the skin.
This treatment can be used during pregnancy after the beginning of the second trimester and it may also be used while nursing.
Mederma is also accompanied by a money back guarantee. In order to qualify, you must have been using the product for three months though and not be happy with the results…or lack thereof.
When can you start Mederma stretch mark treatments?
Stretch marks are a natural phenomenon that can occur during many times during life. They may be incurred in growth spurts, pregnancy or even rapid weight gain. While you may not be able to fully rid yourself of these marks, you can dramatically lighten them. You may also be able to prevent them completely.
Whether you have stretch marks now or you just want to prevent them, Mederma can help you. Just apply twice a day massaging the cream in a circular motion.
According to the makers of this product, stretch marks are less common occurrences in skin that is thoroughly hydrated. So really making sure your skin remains moisturized is a proven way to help minimize stretch marks no matter what life changes you’re going through.
What can you expect from Mederma stretch mark cream?
If you already have stretch marks or you are expecting them (due to pregnancy, for example) then you might benefit from the use of this nourishing cream. It works to lock moisture in the skin to prevent new stretch marks and lighten existing ones.
For existing stretch marks, you can expect the overall appearance of them to be improved as well as the discoloration being reduced, the texture becoming smoother and the softness enhanced.
Will a Mederma stretch mark cream review explain how long it will take for results?
Yes, it should. Although you need to know that results take time. Don’t be discouraged if you put it on the first night and wake up with no change in the morning. Generally, minimal results can be seen after 4 weeks of use as directed with optimal results being achieved at 12 weeks.
Why would I read Mederma stretch mark reviews?
Reading reviews about a product, especially one like this is instrumental in giving you inside information on how the product works. You can read what the product web site says all day long but in the end, they just want your money. Reviews written by users will tell you the things that the company won’t say.
Is Mederma stretch mark therapy hard to use?
No, actually it is quite simple. All that you have to do is apply the cream twice daily. Mederma makes it even easier by allowing users to sign up for calendars, email and text alerts to remind them to use the product!
Can I write a Mederma stretch mark therapy review?
Absolutely. If you want to do this though, you may want to keep a log of when you started using it, how it feels, ease of use, how long before you saw results and other things that review readers may find helpful. You might also want to include the price and whether or not you had any side effects. Of course, I’d love it if you shared your review with me in the comments below. Or, you could choose to publish it on Amazon.com, which is where we recommend you purchase Mederma.
Is Mederma stretch marks treatment the best one?
Our research shows that Mederma is definitely a step up from Bio Oil, though it is also a bit more expensive. However, it does not work as well or as quickly as TriLASTIN SR. That being said, it is cheaper than TriLASTIN, but you know what they say — you get what you pay for.
If you are looking for a method that is middle of the road as far as price and effectiveness then this is definitely the one for you.

Is Mederma stretch marks therapy hard to find?
Not at all. You can find Mederma being sold at drug stores and big box stores all over the United States. You can also find it online at Amazon.com.
Mederma will cost you a bit less than $35 for a bottle and that bottle should last you about a month depending on how much you are using.
When you compare that price to TriLASTIN SR, you will see a large difference as you will with Bio Oil.
So here’s the lowdown:
- Bio Oil will give you good results at a cheap price.
- Mederma will give you better results for a higher price.
- TriLASTIN SR will give you the best results at twice the price.

Since I already bought the Bio Oil and Mederma before learning about TriLASTIN SR, I wanted to incorporate them with the derma rolling. Do you recommend using both products right after microneedling? If so, what order? Thank you!
Hi Anita – Great question. You can definitely apply both products after derma rolling, as long as you do a spot test to make sure your skin isn’t overly irritated by the combination of of microneedling and topical products. That said, I’d recommend applying the most lightweight product first (Bio Oil), followed by the thicker lotion (Mederma). If you apply the thicker lotion first, it creates a barrier on the skin that will prevent the lighter weight lotion from penetrating.
